How to Get the Most Out of Your First Live Session
Prepare a goal, test your setup and bring questions to make your first live class count.
Your first live class sets the tone for the whole course. A little preparation helps you learn more from the first minute.
Test your setup. Check your camera, microphone and internet connection ten minutes before the class starts.
Know your goal. Write down one thing you want to achieve, such as understanding a topic or practising a skill, and share it with your instructor.
Bring questions. Review the lesson material beforehand and prepare two or three questions. Instructors appreciate learners who come ready to engage.
Take notes and follow up. Write down key points and action items. After the session, review the recording if it is available and complete the practice task.
Don't just read about it — book a tutor and put it into practice.
